Bachexkursion

Our guests of campsite Müllerwiese are welcome to study the fauna and flora of the northern Black Forest and the wild romantic moors on the mountains nearby.

Hello Birdwatchers!
In the surroundings of our camping-ground with luck you can watch the following interesting species:

Pygmy Owl (Glaucidium passerinum); Tengmalm's Owl (Aegolius funereus); Capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus); Three-toed Woodpecker (Picoides tridactylus)

Citril Finch (Serinus citrinella); Ring Ouzel (Turdus torquatus); Dipper (Cinclus cinclus; breeding species on the campsite)

Frosch

Directly on the campsite Müllerwiese you are invited to contact the camping team for questions concerning the nature of the surroundings.

Especially your host and campsite manager Dr. Friedrich Erhard, a biologist, can report some interesting things about fauna and flora of the nature reserve Black Forest.

A sturdy pair of shoes or rubber boots for the excursions at the nature-infocenter Kaltenbronn (8km) might be advantageous.

The nature studies are in german language, however, an easy english translation should be possible (I hope so...).
The excursions will be lead by foresters, biologists and nature guides.

The nature excursions will take place at the little resort Kaltenbronn (8 km from the Müllerwiese) on the top of the hills in the high-altitude moorlands of the northern Black Forest.

Kaltenbronn is also reachable on foot within 2 hours (8 km, elevation 300m) by walking on romantic paths through the woods.
